TNG Services Ltd recently attended a property in Mill Hill, NW7, North West London, after receiving an enquiry about servicing a Quooker boiling-water tap.

The customer had a Quooker Modern tap providing boiling water only. It had become an important part of their daily routine, so its loss was certainly being felt. The customer jokingly described being close to tears because their beloved Quooker had “died”!

Fortunately, the tap’s story wasn’t over.

Descaling and removing blockages

During the service, we thoroughly descaled the Quooker and removed the blockages affecting its operation. The photographs taken during the work show the deposits inside the tank and on the internal assembly.

Boiling water restored

Once the work was completed, the tap was tested and fully restored to working order, much to the customer’s satisfaction. Their trusted boiling-water tap was back in action and ready for the next cup of tea.

A service can make all the difference

A struggling Quooker does not always need replacing. In this case, descaling and clearing the blockages brought the existing tap back to life.
