TNG Services Ltd provides professional electrical, plumbing, heating and property maintenance services for domestic, landlord and commercial clients.
Our rates are transparent and based on the level of skill, experience, responsibility and professional standard required to complete work safely and correctly.
All prices shown below are exclusive of VAT.
Standard Rates
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

A minimum attendance charge of one hour applies to all visits.
Day Work Rate
For larger planned works, we may offer a day work rate where suitable.

The day work rate is suitable for agreed planned works where a full working day is required. This rate must be agreed in advance.
Materials, parking, congestion charges, waste disposal and specialist equipment are charged separately where applicable.
The day work rate may not apply to emergency call-outs, diagnostic visits, specialist testing, inspection reports, certification-only work or consultancy services.
Overtime Rates
Overtime working hours: 6:00am – 8:00am / 5:00pm – 9:00pm

Overtime rates apply to work carried out outside standard working hours, including early morning and evening appointments.

Late and emergency rates apply to urgent attendance, night work and emergency call-outs during late hours.
Consultancy Services

Our consultancy service is suitable for clients, landlords, builders, developers and contractors who require professional advice before, during or after a project.
This can include advice on electrical design, building projects, conversions, extensions, new builds, existing installation concerns, poor workmanship, missing certification, contractor disputes, independent inspections, project audits and compliance issues.
Consultancy visits are charged separately from standard installation or repair work due to the professional assessment, technical advice, documentation review and responsibility involved.
Where written reports, detailed audits, design reviews or follow-up documentation are required, additional time may be charged and confirmed in advance.
Call-Out and Minimum Attendance Charges

A minimum attendance charge of one hour applies to all visits. This covers travel, initial assessment, diagnosis and professional advice provided on site.
During standard working hours, the minimum attendance charge is based on the applicable hourly rate for the service required.
For emergency, same-day, weekend, late-night or out-of-area attendance, an additional call-out charge may apply depending on location, urgency and availability. Any additional charge will be confirmed before attendance.

Any additional charges will be discussed and confirmed before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Estimates and Quotations
For small repairs, fault finding and attendance visits, work is normally charged at the applicable hourly rate.
For larger works, planned projects, electrical installations, plumbing works, heating works, refurbishments, conversions, extensions and commercial works, we can provide a written estimate or quotation before proceeding.
Estimates are based on the information available at the time. Final costs may vary if hidden defects, access issues, unsafe conditions, missing documentation or additional works are identified during the job.
